01 · Search
One search, every marketplace.
When you search, we check Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, eBay, major retailers (through Google Shopping) and NORTH / MARKET sellers at the same time. Results appear as each one answers.
Local listings are searched around your location, rounded to about 1 km. You can use your device’s location or a postal code, and change the distance at any time.
02 · Clean
Only the real thing.
Searching “PS5” on most sites returns games, controllers, cases and wanted ads. We filter out accessories, parts, broken items, trade and wanted ads, replicas, placeholder prices and different models, and show you what we hid and why.
Cheaper versions (like a Digital Edition) stay visible with a label, so you can decide.
03 · Compare
Ranked by what you’d actually pay.
Every price is a total: the item, plus shipping and estimated sales tax for your province. Local pickup has no shipping, and private sales usually have no tax, so a nearby listing often beats a lower sticker price online.
We also show how each listing compares with the typical price for similar listings near you.
04 · Trust
The authenticity meter.
Each listing is rated Strong signals, Looks okay, Verify first or Red flags. The rating looks at what the product is and how often it’s faked, where it’s sold and whether there’s buyer protection, how the price compares, and what the listing says, such as receipts, serial numbers or replica wording.
Open a listing and choose “Review photos & details” for a closer look: we identify the exact product, check its photos against how that product is normally verified, and tell you what to ask the seller for.
The meter rates the listing’s evidence. It can’t prove an item is genuine; inspect it before you pay.
05 · Picks
Recommendations nobody paid for.
Our picks highlight the best overall value, the lowest price you can trust and the closest fair deal. They’re ranked only on total price, distance, trust and how well the listing matches. Sellers can’t pay for placement.
06 · Buy
Buy where the listing is.
Listings from other marketplaces open on their own site, where you buy as usual. Items from NORTH / MARKET sellers are bought here. For local pickups, meet somewhere public and check the item before paying.
